The Hofstra Cultural Arts Center will host a special collaboration with Hevreh Ensemble and the master Native Flute maker Danny Bigay in a concert lecture demonstration format. Hevreh Ensemble exclusively plays Danny’s flutes.

Danny lives in Greeneville, TN and belongs to the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama and is of Cherokee, Choctow, Taino and Scot/Irish descent.

The performance is presented in conjunction with Indigenous People’s Month.
